Questions I get asked
How much weight will the shelves hold?
That depends on the shelf and on what is behind the drywall. I look for studs first and use the right anchor when there is not one where you need it. Tell me what is going on the shelf when you call and I will plan the mounting around it.
Do you do structural or framing work?
No. I keep to minor, non-structural carpentry: trim, molding, shelving and small wood repairs. Anything structural belongs with a licensed contractor.
Is there a minimum job size?
No. Small jobs are the whole point of Call Grandpa. If it is one screw or one shelf, that is a job I am happy to take. If you have several small things, book me for a half day and we will work down the list together.
That list is not going to fix itself.
